For science education technicians looking to improve their microbiological media making skills, Quantal Bioscience offers My Media Rules.
This is a 2 hour (1 pm - 3 pm) hands-on science education technician professional learning and development course conducted in our microbiology research laboratory based at Castle Hill, and is suitable for senior primary to senior high school.
The My Media Rules foundation course covers best practice for the production of microbiological media in a school setting, and will answer all of your questions about how to make, sterilise, pour and store agar plates, broths and diluents. Our practical approach will give you confidence to effectively and safely bring the microbiological world into the classrooms at your school, and impress your teachers!
